"Health on the Move": Caronte & Tourist and Italian Red Cross bring

"Health on the Move": free screenings reach Messina suburbs

Caronte & Tourist, together with the Italian Red Cross, presented the "Health on the Move" initiative: seven days of free medical checks carried out by Red Cross mobile units staffed by volunteer professionals, aimed at increasing access to preventive care in outlying neighbourhoods.

Born as part of the group's 60th anniversary celebrations, the programme seeks to bring prevention directly to communities and to people who have difficulty accessing traditional services.

• 12 April 2026 – Church of Mili San Marco (Mili Marina, Mili San Pietro, Mili Moleti), 9:00–13:00
• 19 April 2026 – Curcuraci and surrounding centres (Marotta, Faro Superiore, Massa San Nicola, Massa Santa Lucia, Massa San Giorgio, Massa San Giovanni, Castanea)
• 10 May 2026 – Villaggio C.E.P.
• 24 May 2026 – Giostra
• 14 June 2026 – Giampilieri
• 28 June 2026 – Ganzirri
• 5 July 2026 – Camaro San Paolo

Services include first-access visits and specialist screenings (endocrinology, dermatology, cardiology, ENT, ophthalmology) as well as support from speech therapists and nutritionists. Local parishes will provide logistical support and spaces to welcome patients. Further updates will be published on the group's official channels.
