Identifying and foraging wild herbs in Strada in Chianti

On Saturday 11 April in Strada, a hamlet of Greve in Chianti, the second appointment of the "Sabato del Villaggio" series focuses on local wild herbs. After a short theoretical introduction, environmental hiking guide Stefano Mattii will lead participants on a practical lesson-walk through the meadows to identify species in the field.

• Program: brief classroom introduction followed by a guided walk

The event aims to enhance botanical knowledge and encourage a sustainable relationship with the Chianti agricultural landscape, providing practical skills to recognise useful species and understand their role in the local ecosystem.
