Relais & Châteaux Italy enters a new phase with the appointment of Vincenzo Bianconi as national delegate. The move aims to reinforce the profile of Italian properties and restaurants within the international network, emphasizing territorial identity and sustainable practices.
Bianconi, who previously served as delegate from 2013 to 2018, leads a historic hospitality enterprise in Umbria that includes Palazzo Seneca in Norcia and the Vespasia Restaurant (Michelin-starred and awarded a Green Star for sustainability). He succeeds Danilo Guerrini as the Italian representative on the Association's Board of Delegates.
For his mandate, Bianconi has outlined several key priorities designed to convert the membership's diversity into shared value:
"I believe in hospitality born of shared intelligence: the exchange between different experiences is what allows us to build coherent and lasting development models," Bianconi says, stressing the importance of dialogue among operators, institutions and professionals.
Supporting the delegate, Lucrezia Vivenzi will serve as Director of the Italian Delegation, aiming to strengthen internal dialogue and the network's activity in Italy. The delegation today includes over 50 members and is part of an international network of around 580 properties and restaurants across 65 countries.
The appointment highlights renewed focus on the quality of welcome, the cultural heritage of places, and the impact of entrepreneurial practices on local communities.
