Palazzo Foundation opens its spring season with a programme of public visits and educational events at Villa Pallavicino delle Peschiere, a notable Renaissance residence in Genoa.

Events combine heritage visits, hands-on workshops and professional orientation, promoting sustainable cultural tourism and active community use of the villa.

Highlights and reasons to attend

• Mannerist frescoes by Giovanni Battista Castello and Luca Cambiaso;
• Historic gardens including a nymphaeum and a mosaic-decorated grotto;
• Programs tailored to families, schools and young audiences, with creative workshops and performances;
• Orientation workshop introducing the emerging profession of cultural communicator.

Key dates and schedule

• Saturday 21 March – guided tours in two sessions from 10:00 to 12:15 led by a cultural communicator; afternoon workshop aimed at high school students on cultural communication, organised with OPEN APS and the IANUA School (University of Genoa).
• Saturday 11 April – further guided visits available by reservation;
• Saturday 16 May – family and children’s workshop with activities inspired by the villa.
