Arteparco 2026 unveiled at MAXXI L’Aquila
The MAXXI L’Aquila hosted the presentation of the ninth edition of Arteparco, a project that merges contemporary art and nature within the Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise. The event saw participation from institutional and cultural representatives, founder Paride Vitale and the curator of the opening exhibition.
The 2026 edition features artist Hilario Isola, who created a new site-specific work that will join the permanent trail of environmental artworks in the Park.
- Opening exhibition: Arteparco. Arte nella natura, curated by Fanny Borel.
- Joint effort by institutions, artists and local communities to enhance landscape and biodiversity.
- Goal: boost Abruzzo’s cultural and tourist appeal through site-specific artistic interventions.
Organisers emphasised Arteparco as a virtuous model connecting contemporary artistic languages with environmental protection, offering visitors an integrated art-and-nature experience.
