Modena City of Festivals 2026: twelve months of events

Modena renews the "Modena City of Festivals" campaign to showcase a year-round program that animates the city month after month. The integrated communication strategy includes continuous digital promotion from April 2026 until January 2027, complemented by offline activities and a dedicated landing page on VisitModena.it.

• New for 2026: Jazz Open (13-18 July 2026) and Play in the City (November 2026), designed to broaden cultural offerings and engage audiences of all ages.
• Established events: Motor Valley Fest, festivalfilosofia, Dig Festival, Modena BelCanto Festival, Learning More Festival and other nationally and internationally relevant events.
• Notable dates in the calendar: European Night of Museums (23 May 2026), Mille Miglia (10 June 2026), Festa della Musica (21 June 2026), Men's European Volleyball Championship (12-17 September 2026), Modena World Heritage in Celebration (2-4 October 2026), Sciocolà (29 October-1 November 2026).

The initiative, promoted by the Municipality's City Promotion and Tourism Office together with Modenatur, supported by the Fondazione di Modena and co-funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region, aims to strengthen Modena's positioning as a cultural and tourist destination of excellence.
