"I Could Have Done That": itinerant contemporary art exhibition in Tuturano

The participatory project Tuturano Ti Vorrei concludes on Monday 20 April 2026 with the final event and a guided visit to the itinerant exhibition “I Could Have Done That”, displayed across the main streets of Tuturano. The appointment is open to the community and serves to present the educational and laboratory activities carried out with children, young people and local residents.

Where: Piazza Regina Margherita, in front of the Enzo Cosma Social Library, Tuturano.

When: 20 April 2026 — approximate event time: 13:30–14:30 (guided tour and sharing session).

The exhibition features works by pupils from the Istituto Comprensivo Centro–Tuturano and documents the artistic workshops run during the project. Activities aimed to turn participants from viewers into active creators, exploring techniques and ideas inspired by contemporary art figures.

  • Types of works on display: photography, painted portraits, sculpture, street art pieces and action painting.
  • Guided tour led by Valeria Gatti, art historian and curator of the workshops.
  • Operators involved: La Città dei Ragazzi service and the Tuturano Ti Vorrei team.

The initiative encompassed territorial needs analysis, participatory planning, free workshops and training for under-35s, engaging hundreds of participants and producing public events and activities earlier in the year.

Partners and funding: co-funded by the Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service; promoted by the Municipality of Brindisi with strategic direction by ImmaginAbile Impresa Sociale. Local schools, associations and supporting organizations contributed to the project.

How to attend: the closing event is open to the public; for details on times and access check the local library or project information channels.
