From May 24 to September 30, 2026, Bassano del Grappa becomes a focal point for contemporary Italian painting with Ensemble_2026, the first edition of a biennial observatory dedicated to emerging painters under 40.

Curated by Cesare Biasini Selvaggi, the exhibition offers a broad survey of painting practices in Italy, highlighting works that expand the medium into installation, video art and performance, and that explore the dialogue between figuration and abstraction.
