In Lucanian territory, near San Costantino Albanese, lies the Pollino Outdoor Park, an adventure park nestled among trees and unspoiled nature within the Pollino National Park.
Beloved by both adults and children, the park also attracts a large number of school groups. However, the Municipality of San Costantino Albanese aims to go further, with plans to invest in environmental and sports infrastructure to enhance the area and strengthen its tourism appeal.
Courses for everyone
The Pollino Outdoor Park offers seven acrobatic courses of increasing difficulty. Each route is made up of suspended platforms, Tibetan bridges, ladders, and pulleys — all in complete safety. Every participant is equipped with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including a harness, carabiners, shock absorber, pulley, and helmet.
Children can challenge themselves on the Yellow course (the easiest), the Blue course (medium difficulty), and the Orange course (designed for the youngest). All routes are carefully designed to improve balance, coordination, and self-confidence in a fun and safe environment.
For older kids and adults, there are four additional routes:
Services and facilities
The park also offers several services, including a picnic area where visitors can rest between activities, informative signage along all routes, and a partner parking area for visitors’ convenience.
Useful information
The park is open on Saturdays and Sundays, continuously from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For more information, visitors are encouraged to contact the park directly or visit the official website: https://pollinopark.wixsite.com/parcoavventura-sca.
