Pejo Kinderland – Amusement park at high altitude

Autore: Redazione 01/08/2025 13:37

In the winter of Trentino-Alto Adige, Pejo Kinderland rises, an amusement park at high altitude (2000 m above sea level) dedicated to children and immersed in the stunning scenery of the Stelvio National Park.

Easily accessible thanks to the Pejo Fonti – Tarlenta cable car, it can also be comfortably reached on foot with a pleasant one-hour walk from Peio Paese.

The true star of the park, however, is water, which becomes play, discovery, and learning. The water route begins from a small high-altitude pond and winds through channels, dams, crossings, and areas where children can control the flow, stimulating curiosity and creativity. Everything is built from natural wood and eco-friendly materials, harmoniously blending with the alpine environment.

But that’s not all: young explorers will also find a wooden ship with a climbing wall and slide, a flying pulley, a large wooden eagle that guards the original rope swings, and, in the middle of the meadow, giant hammocks where they can relax while enjoying the breathtaking mountain views. There is also a sandbox for more creative play and, in winter, the park transforms into a snow park with tubing, sleds, and first steps on the snow, managed by the Italian Ski & Snowboard School Val di Peio.

For a refreshment with a view, just a few meters away is the Rifugio Scoiattolo, with a bar, restaurant, and panoramic terrace. Those who wish to extend their excursion can reach the Rifugio Doss dei Gembri or Malga Saline, both suitable for families with children.

Opening hours and prices

The park is open every day from June 10 to September 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
