Parco Natura Viva – Education, Adventure and Leisure

One of the largest and most renowned wildlife parks in Italy, Parco Natura Viva – located in Bussolengo, near Verona – is a vast natural complex home to over 1,500 animals from more than 200 species from around the world. Divided into a Safari route and a wide pedestrian area, it offers an immersive experience that combines adventure, environmental education, and entertainment for all ages.

Main Attractions

Safari Route (by car – about 5 km)

An African-style experience to enjoy from your own vehicle. Along the way, visitors can observe up close:

  • Giraffes
  • Antelopes
  • Rhinos
  • Lions
  • Spotted hyenas
  • Zebras and other large herbivores

The route recreates natural environments, allowing animals to move freely while visitors watch them safely.

Pedestrian Route

A trail through oak woods and natural areas divided into themed zones dedicated to the five continents:

  • Africa – hippos, lions, chimpanzees
  • Oceania – kangaroos, cassowaries
  • Asia – red pandas, Siberian tigers
  • America – pumas, armadillos
  • Europe – arctic wolves, birds of prey

Throughout the visit, guests will find refreshment points, picnic areas, and playgrounds for children.

House of Dragons – Tropical Greenhouse

A large greenhouse that hosts reptiles and other tropical species, including:

  • Komodo dragons
  • Seychelles tortoises
  • Boas, anacondas, dwarf crocodiles
  • Giant otters
  • Free-flying butterflies
  • Leafcutter ants
  • Tropical fish

Jurassic Adventure

A woodland trail featuring 35 life-sized dinosaurs, created based on the latest scientific research. It’s a journey through time, from the first terrestrial creatures to the most imposing dinosaurs.

From July 12, the park also offers evening programs with workshops, interactive routes, and the brand-new Extinction Lumina Show.

Special Events

  • Nature by Night – from May 31: evening openings with enchanting visits and themed activities.
  • Educational workshops and keeper talks.

Opening Hours

The park is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with extended hours on weekends and during peak season until 10:00 p.m.

The Safari opens at 9:30 a.m., allowing visitors to see the animals until 7:00 p.m., or 9:00 p.m. on weekends and in high season.

Tickets 2025

Tickets can be purchased both online and on site, though buying online is recommended for discounted prices.

  • Pedestrian Park: €25
  • Safari by car: €25
  • Combo Park + Safari: €29
  • Disabled visitors: €20 (single) – €24 (combo)
  • Free admission: children 0–2 years and companions of disabled visitors

A €7 supplement applies to the second park if purchased separately. Season passes with unlimited entries are available until January 6, 2026.

How to Get There

The park can be reached easily by car from several major cities:

  • From Milan – A4 Milan–Venice motorway, Sommacampagna exit
  • From Venice or Bologna – Verona Nord exit
  • From Trento – A22 Brenner motorway, Affi exit
