Il Gigante Adventure Park – just a stone’s throw from Florence

Autore: Redazione 01/08/2025 14:27

Just a few kilometers from the center of Florence lies Il Gigante Adventure Park, the largest adventure park in Tuscany — a place where visitors can test their courage and skills among the trees, fully immersed in nature. The park offers an unforgettable experience suitable for all ages.

Six courses for all ages and levels of difficulty

The park features a wide variety of suspended routes, weaving through Tibetan bridges, walkways, and zip lines up to 100 meters long, reaching heights of up to 20 meters above the ground.

Activities are divided by age group, with a colored wristband system indicating which courses each visitor can access:

  • Children 3–8 years old (minimum height 100 cm): access to 6 yellow routes, including Caterpillar, Bee, Butterfly, and Spider. Price: €16
  • From 6 years old (110 cm): 2 orange routes available. Price: €18
  • From 7 years old (120 cm): 3 green routes added. Price: €18
  • From 9 years old (130 cm): access to 3 blue routes. Price: €20
  • From 11 years old (140 cm): red routes also available. Price: €21
  • From 12 years old (150 cm): access to all routes except the yellow ones. Price: €23

Each ticket allows up to 2½ hours of activity; additional hours can be purchased for €5 per hour.

Safety and comfort

Safety is guaranteed by qualified instructors who assist visitors throughout the entire experience, as well as by harnesses equipped with a double anti-fall system. All you need is comfortable clothing and sneakers to enjoy the adventure with complete peace of mind.

For a refreshing break, the Bar Bagianni serves sandwiches, focaccia, drinks, and natural snacks. There’s also a picnic area with 15 shaded tables, ideal for birthday parties or simply relaxing between activities.

How to get to Il Gigante

The park is located along Via Bolognese, near Villa Demidoff, just before Pratolino (Municipality of Vaglia) — a true paradise between Florence and the Mugello.

A large parking area in front of Villa Demidoff makes it easy and convenient to reach the park by car.
