Erice Adventure Park: a park born from the passion of biologists and environmental guides

As you may have guessed, we’re not talking about a simple adventure park, but about a true project born from the heart of a group of Sicilian biologists, united by their passion for nature, trekking, and diving.

After years of experience gained through tourism promotion activities, university projects, and environmental consulting, this team of researchers decided to turn their vision into reality: to create a place where adventure, safety, and above all, environmental education could coexist.

And so, just a stone’s throw from Trapani, in the lush pine forest of the Martogna Park, the Erice Adventure Park was born — a place where visitors can test their courage on Tibetan bridges and zip lines, pushing their limits while improving balance and coordination. And no, in case you’re wondering, you don’t need to be athletic — it’s a park designed for everyone.

Continuous Belay System

One of the park’s greatest strengths is its use of a patented and certified continuous lifeline safety system — the French continuous belay system. Thanks to a special carabiner that attaches at the start of the route and cannot be unhooked until the end, each participant remains constantly secured to the safety line. This completely eliminates the risk of falling, making the experience safe and enjoyable even for families, schools, and scout groups.

The Courses: From Children to Expert Adventurers

The park offers five acrobatic courses with 46 suspended elements, among the most numerous in the province of Trapani:

• Mini Junior: ideal for the little ones (even without a harness), less than 1 meter off the ground.
• Green 1 & 2: designed for beginners, with easy, low-height crossings.
• Blue: more challenging, around 4 meters high — perfect for corporate teams and teenagers.
• Red: for the bravest. It requires physical strength, no fear of heights, and a desire to climb over 8 meters above the ground.

In addition to the aerial courses, the park offers another fascinating activity: archery. On a platform deep in the forest, guided by a certified instructor, visitors can learn how to handle a bow and shoot arrows — a discipline that trains the mind even before the body.

• Hedgehog: €13 – Green 1 + Green 2 + Blue
• Hare: €20 – same as Hedgehog + archery
• Buzzard: €16 – Green 1 + Green 2 + Blue + Red
• Fox: €23 – full course + archery
• Archery only: €10 for 18 arrows (3 series of 6)
