Parc Animalier d’Introd – Aosta

Nestled in the pristine nature of the Aosta Valley, the Parc Animalier d’Introd is a wildlife park that offers adults and children the opportunity to observe the typical fauna and flora of the Alps up close, in a protected environment that respects natural ecosystems.

Park Residents

Within the park, visitors can admire various species of animals, including:

  • Alpine ungulates (ibex, chamois, roe deer, red deer, wild boar)
  • Birds of prey (golden eagle, eagle owl, barn owl, snowy owl, tawny owl)
  • Mammals and rodents (marmots, squirrels, foxes, badgers, hares)
  • Aquatic animals and amphibians (brown trout, alpine char, alpine frog, river crayfish)

Alpine Flora

The park also features numerous species of mountain plants and flowers, including the Edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum), Masterwort, and other varieties of multicolored native flora typical of the Alpine landscape.

 

Opening Hours

Open daily from late March to December, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with last recommended entry at 5:00 p.m. to fully enjoy the visit.

No reservation is required.

The park reserves the right to temporarily or prematurely close access in case of adverse weather, snow, or safety reasons.

How to Get There

From Turin or Milan:

  • Take the A5 Turin–Aosta motorway to the Aosta Ovest exit
  • From Aymavilles, follow SS26 towards Courmayeur
  • At Villeneuve, turn towards Introd

From Courmayeur:

  • Follow SS26 towards Aosta until Villeneuve, then follow the signs for Introd
