Palazzo dei Musei, Modena: 2026–2027 season
The Palazzo dei Musei in Modena has revealed its main exhibitions for the 2026–2027 season: two international shows hosted in the museum's new wing, accompanied by educational routes and collateral events for schools and families.

Robert Doisneau – Retrospective photography
Dates: 24 September 2026 – 24 January 2027. The exhibition gathers around 150 photographs from Doisneau's Paris studio, including archival materials and emblematic images that depict 20th-century France. Curated by Gabriel Bauret.

Hokusai and His Time – Painting and printmaking (Edo period)
Planned period: February – June 2027. A show focused on Edo-period prints and paintings, curated by Francesco Paolo Campione, Marco Fagioli and Moira Luraschi, in collaboration with the Museo delle Culture of Lugano. The program will also feature musical events in partnership with the Philharmonic of the Teatro Comunale under the direction of Hirodumi Yoshida.

The season is supported by national and international partnerships; the Municipality of Modena provided a public contribution of €130,000. Educational pathways and school activities are being developed and will be announced when ready.
