In Pordenone, within the picturesque Parco Galvani and housed inside the historic Villa Galvani, stands the PAFF! – International Museum of Comic Art. This is not a simple gallery, but a true international museum entirely dedicated to the ninth art: comics.
Inaugurated in 2018 on the initiative of Giulio De Vita, a comic artist from Pordenone, the museum has become a major reference point for sequential art in Italy and abroad. Its goal is to elevate comics to a form of fine art, recounting their history and many dimensions through an exhibition path that blends education and entertainment.
A Creative Journey through Panels and Stories
The PAFF! exhibition path is an immersive and engaging experience, designed for visitors of all ages. What makes it unique is its ability to make the artworks “speak” to the visitor through modern, interactive installations.
The Palazzo del Fumetto of Pordenone is a vibrant cultural institution, showing how comics are an ever-evolving artistic and narrative language — capable of telling stories in a universal and visually powerful way.
