Trame di Borghi: final events focused on cultural regeneration

Trame di Borghi – Memorie in movimento reaches its closing phase. Young people aged 14 to 35 took part in artistic pathways and research activities aimed at enhancing lesser-known local places. The network of associations combined music, audiovisual work, sound design, play and community engagement to refresh how local heritage is told.

Activities carried out

• Podcast creation and management workshops;
• Sound design and sonic experimentation sessions;
• Audiovisual labs and multimedia storytelling;
• Historical research and heritage walks;
• Workshops for role-playing game development;
• Local narratives gathered from residents and experts (e.g. Orti di Tolentino, Villa Ficana in Macerata).

Public event schedule

The public presentation of the project will take place over three free events featuring project overviews, screenings and talks with invited guests:

• Thursday 23 April 2026, 21:15 – Cinema Italia, Macerata: "Culture and territory – Dialogue on reclaiming difficult places through culture" and screening of the documentary Trame di Borghi – Memorie in movimento directed by Filippo Falconi. The short film La classe, produced by the filmmaking course participants, will follow.
• Sunday 26 April 2026, 18:30 – Conference centre of the former Oratory Church, Belforte del Chienti: screening and talk with additional guests.
• Tuesday 28 April 2026, 19:00 – Istituto Nicola Vaccaj, Tolentino: repeated format with screenings and discussion on how young people can drive cultural regeneration.

Free admission. These meetings offer practical examples of how youth participation and contemporary artistic languages can breathe new life into historic centres and local heritage.
