Odissea 2000: The Aquatic Fun Park of Southern Italy

Autore: Redazione 01/08/2025 13:05

In Rossano, Calabria, the Odissea 2000 Water Park can be described as a mythological world rather than a simple water park. Since 1995, this enchanting destination — inspired by the splendor of ancient Greece — has welcomed thousands of visitors from all over Italy every summer.

Spanning 80,000 square meters, the park features 6,000 cubic meters of water, 25 attractions, 4,000 meters of slides, and a perfect mix of green and blue spaces where adrenaline and relaxation coexist in harmony. Over the years, Odissea 2000 has evolved while staying true to its mythological soul, offering new emotions to its guests every season.

Many of Odissea 2000’s attractions hold national and European records. Highlights include Chimera, the first upside-down multi-slide in Italy, and the legendary Titano Roller, the longest water slide in Europe — an unforgettable aquatic adventure that remains unbeaten. There’s also Skyron Rocket, Italy’s first looping rocket slide, and the thrilling Big Olimpo, a 163-meter-long water roller coaster that delivers pure adrenaline rushes.

Attractions

The park is divided into three main themed areas:

  • Mozzafiato (Breathtaking) – featuring Big Olimpo, Titano Roller, Krono Kamikaze, and Black Polifemo;
  • Per tutti (For everyone) – including Atena Gioc’Onda, Poseidon, and Apollo Kamikaze;
  • Kids Area – designed for children, with Castello di Hermes, Penelope’s House, and Polidoro.

Services

Odissea 2000 provides everything needed for a carefree day: bars, a pizzeria, the Olympus restaurant, a Sammontana kiosk, a fruit bar, and comfortable picnic areas. Additional services include ATM, first-aid station, and a pharmacy.
