Oasi Zegna: a green paradise in the Biella Alps

Autore: Redazione 26/08/2025 15:33

Oasi Zegna is a corner of unspoiled nature located in the Biella Alps of Piedmont, enchanting visitors with its forests spanning over 100 km2. This reserve was born from the ecological vision of the Zegna family and is an invitation to rediscover the beauty of the Piedmontese mountains.

The Conca dei Rododendri (Rhododendron Basin) is an explosion of colors in spring and is perfect for photographers and nature lovers in autumn. The oasis transforms into a palette of reds, oranges, and yellows, thanks especially to the woodlands. The Rhododendrons, however, as mentioned, are an important symbol of the oasis.

The reserve is also a refuge for incredible biodiversity, hosting deer, roe deer, and birds of prey, in addition to rich alpine flora. It offers a total immersion into a protected, lush, yet fragile ecosystem.

The Panoramica Zegna is a scenic road created specifically for trekking and cycling enthusiasts, but it can also be traveled on horseback. There are easier routes, such as the Bosco del Sorriso (Forest of Smiles), but also more complicated ones toward Mount Rubello. In short, there is something for everyone.

Oasi Zegna is a place of serenity, ideal for those seeking relaxation, meditation, peace, and inspiration. The silence of the woods allows for a regenerating break, perfect for disconnecting from the hectic daily routine.
