European Museum Night 2026 — Emilia-Romagna

Date: Saturday 23 May 2026. The European Museum Night brings evening openings, events and guided tours at sites that preserve and present the region's cultural heritage.

In Italy, state museums participate with an evening entry fee of €1 and dedicated programs; across Emilia-Romagna many civic and private museums also offer free access, special guided visits and activities for all ages. • Piacenza — Civic museums open from 20:00 to 24:00 with activities organized by scientific societies and cultural associations.
• Parma — Evening openings of Civic Museums and guided tours at the Puppet Castle, Arturo Toscanini's birthplace, the Opera Museum and Pinacoteca Stuard, with activities starting at 18:00.
• Reggio Emilia — A workshop for children (8–13) inspired by photographic exhibitions and the presentation of a comic episode linked to local archaeological sites.
• Modena — From 19:00 to 24:00 participatory performances in the entrance hall of the Palazzo dei Musei; activities extend to Montale and Sassuolo.
• Bologna — A wide program connecting 54 museums across 14 municipalities with openings, guided visits, lectures, readings and concerts.
• Ferrara — The National Archaeological Museum offers an immersive experience exploring Etruscan concepts of beauty from 18:00 onward.
• Faenza (Ravenna) — Presentation of an immersive VR video dedicated to the spaces of the National Museum of Neoclassical Age in Romagna.
