Monumenti Aperti 2026: Cavallerizza Caprilli, Pinerolo

On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May 2026 the Cavallerizza Caprilli, a landmark of Italian equestrian heritage, opens to the public for free guided visits as part of the Monumenti Aperti festival. Tours are led by local volunteers and official guides.

Built between 1909 and 1910, the Cavallerizza Caprilli is an important example of Art Nouveau architecture and is historically dedicated to Captain Federico Caprilli. It is considered one of the largest covered riding schools in Europe. The special opening gives visitors the chance to learn about the building's history and its equestrian significance.
