Nebrodi Adventure Park: adrenaline in green Sicily

Autore: Redazione 31/08/2025 17:08

In the Nebrodi Park, the largest green lung of Sicily, the Nebrodi Adventure Park is one of the most thrilling destinations for those who love outdoor adventure. Located in Longi, in the province of Messina, the park offers suspended trails, climbing walls, and activities designed for all ages.

The Courses

At the heart of the park are its aerial obstacle courses, built among the trees with wooden platforms, Tibetan bridges, ropes, and pulleys. They range from simple trails for children to challenging ones for adrenaline seekers. The goal is not only fun but also respect for nature: every structure is made with eco-friendly materials and minimal environmental impact.

  • Mini-junior: 6 games in sequence for children aged 2 to 5, assisted by a parent or responsible adult.
  • Blue Course: 6 games for children aged 6 to 9 (minimum height 110 cm), with adult supervision and an introductory safety briefing.
  • Yellow Course: 6 games for children aged 6 to 9, similar to the Blue Course but with different challenges.
  • Purple Kids Course: features a 38-meter zipline for children and adults over 110 cm.
  • Green Course: 8 games for kids (10+) and adults over 130 cm.
  • Blue Course: 8 games for participants over 140 cm and 13 years old – intermediate difficulty.
  • Red Course: 5 games for participants over 140 cm and 14 years old – medium to hard.
  • Black Course: 5 games for those over 140 cm and at least 16 years old – advanced difficulty.
  • Purple Course: a sequence of ziplines for participants over 140 cm and 14 years old.

All routes are carried out in total safety: helmets, harnesses, and protective gear are provided by the staff, who are always on hand to supervise and assist. It’s an adventure suitable for everyone — families, couples, and groups of friends.

Entry to the park is free, and you pay only for the activities.

Services

Beyond adrenaline, the park offers picnic tables, barbecue areas, and wide green spaces where visitors can relax and enjoy breathtaking views stretching from mountains to sea.

Outdoor Activities

The adventure doesn’t end in the trees. Nature lovers can explore the Nebrodi’s scenic hiking trails, surrounded by centuries-old woods and spectacular landscapes. The park also organizes orienteering, archery, and climbing, encouraging teamwork and a passion for the outdoors.

Children can enjoy dedicated play areas and guided activities that introduce them to the natural world in a fun and educational way.

Sustainable Tourism and Territory Promotion

The Nebrodi Adventure Park is more than just an amusement park — it’s a project to enhance and protect Sicily’s natural heritage. Located in one of the island’s most authentic and wild areas, it promotes eco-tourism and showcases the unique beauty of the Nebrodi, an often-overlooked region brimming with charm.
