The historic village of San Donato in Poggio hosts the third edition of "Naturalmente San Donato: EcoFestival in the Village." Organized by the local Pro Loco with contributions from community partners, the festival highlights sustainability, civic engagement and the promotion of local heritage.

Venues and schedule

Events are set along via del Giglio, via Senese, piazza del Pozzo Nuovo and the surrounding countryside.

• Morning (10:00–13:00): territory clean‑up with Plastic Free Onlus and Legambiente; guided historical and environmental walk led by Fabio Poggi.
• Day (10:00–18:00): market featuring crafts and local produce, plus information stands from partner associations throughout the village.
• Afternoon (15:00–19:00): children's area (15:00–18:00) with creative recycled‑material workshops and traditional games; roundtable on the ecological transition from 17:00 to 19:00 with experts and institutional representatives.
• Evening (19:30–23:00): live music performance by Didjedoo (Afro‑tropical sounds).

• Municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle: patronage and commitment to reduce the event's ecological footprint, including adoption of CAM environmental criteria.
• Legambiente Chianti Fiorentino: runs children's workshops and leads cleanup activities.

• Osservatorio Polifunzionale del Chianti (OPC) and Biodistretto del Chianti: provide scientific insight and information stands; speakers at the roundtable.
