Vittoria Personeni Quadrio: solo exhibition at MVSA

From 20 May to 5 July 2026 the MVSA - Museo Valtellinese di Storia e Arte hosts a solo exhibition dedicated to Vittoria Personeni Quadrio (1931-2025). Located in the exhibition rooms of Palazzo Sassi de’ Lavizzari, the show collects paintings and prints that trace the artist’s long and distinctive career.

Highlights

The exhibition highlights recurring subjects in Personeni Quadrio’s work: the relationship between figure and movement, the alpine landscape as personal memory and inner space, and the motif of horses. The display also emphasizes the engravings and graphic works from the 1980s onward, where the artist’s sign becomes more essential and dynamic.
