The M9 Museum in Mestre has broadened its exhibition program to create a conversation between contemporary practices and 20th-century history. The director describes the museum as a "third place", designed to bring together disciplines and diverse perspectives to make the century's history more accessible through contemporary visual languages.
From March 14 to April 12, the museum opens two new shows that inaugurate this approach:
Both projects address timely issues: the intersection of art, technology and society, and contemporary representations of landscape. The museum plans to systematize contemporary programming to offer new interpretative keys for understanding both the present and the 20th century, which is the institution's core focus.
Visitor information:
The museum's new direction aims to integrate temporary displays and multidisciplinary languages, positioning M9 as a reference point for those seeking contemporary perspectives on 20th-century history.
