On Sunday 19 April, the Corinaldo branch of Archeoclub d'Italia leads a guided walk focused on the theme of water in the historic village. Part of the second edition of Primavera dei Borghi d'Italia, the walk is a combined cultural, natural and archaeological trek led by Italo Pelinga and Eros Gregorini.
Meet at the Lavatoio delle Fonti at 4:30 PM. The itinerary will visit key water sites: civic wells, external springs, and the hydraulic works that supplied the community over the centuries.
The walk provides a tangible perspective on how water influenced urban life: from public health and infrastructure investments to architectural and religious traces that mark the territory.
The walk is suitable for anyone interested in local history and in understanding how water resources have shaped Corinaldo’s urban and social development.
