Marche by bike: the region confirms its excellence in cycle tourism

The Marche region is reaffirming itself as a prime destination for cycle tourism in Italy. Routes that cross coasts, hills and historic villages, together with cultural and food experiences, are central to the promotional work of the Region and ATIM (Agency for Tourism and Internationalisation of Marche).

• Cycle Tourism Fair: the Region will take part in the Padua fair (27-29 March 2026). ATIM will present routes and experiences at Pavilion 5A, Area A, stand 14; a panel titled "La Ciclovia Adriatica nelle Marche" is scheduled for Sunday 29 March at 11:30.
• Major cycling events: promotion is supported by high-profile races such as the final three stages of the Tirreno-Adriatico and the arrival of the Giro d'Italia's eighth stage in Fermo, strategic opportunities to raise the area's profile.
• Key routes: highlighted itineraries include the Ciclovia Adriatica, the Ciclovia delle Abbazie, the Ciclo Appenninica Alte Marche and the Grande Anello dei Sibillini, which showcase natural landscapes and local heritage.

The regional approach aims to strengthen an active and sustainable tourism offer, appealing to both Italian enthusiasts and international visitors who want to explore Marche's culture, villages and culinary traditions by bike.
