Florence Cocktail Week 2026: the tenth edition spotlights Italian talent

From 16 to 22 April 2026 Florence will host Florence Cocktail Week, marking its tenth year and focusing on showcasing the community of Italian bartenders and the culture of responsible drinking. This edition returns to its roots by highlighting Italian professionals and the dialogue between tradition and contemporary mixology.

Directed by Paola Mencarelli, the event engages more than 70 venues, including 55 Selected Bars and numerous Event Partners, with activities spread across bars, hotel bars and city locations.

• Program highlights: masterclasses, guest shifts, brunches, aperitifs, pop-ups and cultural events; the full calendar will be available online in April on the festival's official site.
• FCW26 Drink List: each Selected Bar will offer three exclusive cocktails — a Signature, a Wellness (Low ABV or Alcohol Free) and a Classic — emphasizing the roots of cocktail culture alongside innovation.
• Special initiatives: the return of the Contest, the Historic Cafés Tour ending at Caffè Gilli 1733, Martini’s Martini Social Club guest shift, and Gucci Giardino-hosted brunches.
• Barkeeper: dedicated moments for resident bartenders to share stories, visions and their FCW26 cocktail lists directly from the bar.

The week aims to narrate professional journeys and skills of Italian bartenders, including those who work abroad, reinforcing the visibility of Italian mixology while celebrating Florence’s hospitality and cultural heritage.
