Spring in Rome: the Department of Culture program (March 27 – April 9, 2026)

The Department of Culture and the Coordination for the Day of Remembrance present a varied spring program: theatre and music, multimedia experiences, critical thought workshops and guided visits, with an emphasis on accessibility and public participation.

• March 27 – Hub Culturale Moby Dick: presentation of the volume L'arte per la storia. Mirko Basaldella alle Fosse Ardeatine (free admission while seats last).
• April 2 – Officina Pigneto: opening of the new laboratory curated by Nicola Lagioia, a distributed project between Nuovo Cinema Aquila and Biblioteca Goffredo Mameli featuring 36 annual events on literature, science and art (free entry, reservation recommended).
• From March 27 – Ara Pacis Museum: L’Ara si rivela, a multimedia videomapping project reconstructing original polychromy with sound narration; evening visits in limited turns (info and tickets at arapacis.it).
• Museo di Roma at Palazzo Braschi and Museo di Roma in Trastevere: conferences and meetings on cultural accessibility, women’s writing and programs for teachers and university students (specific entry and booking details apply).
• March 29 - May 24 – Teatro Argentina: second edition of Tra Psiche e Mito: Dialoghi sull’Essere, a series connecting psychoanalysis, philosophy and contemporary artistic practices.

The program also highlights projects from winners of the public call for small theatres (under 100 seats), promoting local engagement and experimental formats.
