Manfredonia enters the race for Italian Book Capital 2027

The municipal council of Manfredonia has officially launched its bid for the Italian Book Capital 2027. With resolution no. 87 of 16 April 2026, the administration approved participation in the call by the Ministry of Culture and the preparation of the candidate dossier, the key document for ministerial evaluation.

The proposal, prepared by the Department for Welfare and Culture, builds on an already active local cultural fabric and aims to systematize existing initiatives, engaging institutions, schools, associations and cultural operators.
