May with FAI: highlights at heritage sites

May brings many opportunities to visit and learn about monuments, historic villas, castles and gardens managed by FAI. Exhibitions, thematic markets, tastings and nature walks are designed to connect visitors with the art, history and natural heritage of these sites.

Main events

• May 1–3 – Tre Giorni per il Giardino at the Park of Castello di Masino (TO): a plant and garden market themed “Roots”.
• May 1–3 – Festa della Laguna at Saline Conti Vecchi: guided train tours, workshops and visits to 1930s historic buildings.
• May 3 – Hortus at Orto sul Colle dell’Infinito in Recanati: focus on historic convent gardening with guided tours and local exhibitors.
• May 8–10 – Vini Euganei at Villa dei Vescovi (Luvigliano di Torreglia): wine tastings, masterclasses and, on May 8 (18:00–22:00), a terrace aperitif with exclusive wines.
• May 16–17 – Silk-related events at Palazzo Moroni (Bergamo) and Herbarium at Castello di Avio: market, guided visits and hands-on workshops on aromatic and medicinal plants.
• May 23–24 – Walks for Biodiversity: guided activities led by biologists, botanists and agronomists to discover the flora and fauna of FAI sites, in line with World Biodiversity Day.
