Lucia Leuci — Le 3:17

Galleria Eugenia Delfini presents Le 3:17, the first solo gallery exhibition by Lucia Leuci. The show brings together new works — bronze sculptures and acrylic drawings — that investigate darkness as a perceptual threshold and the fluid relationship between domestic interiors and the urban landscape.

  • Venue: Galleria Eugenia Delfini, Via Giulia 96, 00186 Rome, Italy

What to see

The exhibited works translate a liminal condition into essential, layered forms: hypnagogic states and insomnia alter perception, blurring the boundary between home and city. Bronze sculptures sit alongside acrylic drawings that create visual short-circuits between artificial light and urban shadow. Ordinary elements become thresholds and transit devices through which the everyday expands and redefines itself.

About the artist

Lucia Leuci (Bisceglie, 1977) lives and works in Milan. Her practice ranges across drawing, sculpture and installation; she combines contrasting materials — including blown glass, bronze and precious objects — to build symbolic devices that probe maternity, contemporary identity configurations and the relationship between individual and landscape. Her work connects personal experience with broader social dynamics, producing resonant spaces where matter, form and rhythm generate new meanings.

Recommended for

This exhibition is suited to audiences interested in contemporary art exploring the edge between intimate experience and urban conditions. The installation's material contrasts and nocturnal atmospheres invite reflection on perception, memory and the transformation of everyday spaces.
