The Luci d'Artista (Artist Lights) of Salerno, now in their 20th edition, will once again illuminate the city from 14 November 2025 to 1 February 2026, transforming it into one of the most evocative destinations of the Christmas period. Launched in 2006 on the initiative of the Municipality of Salerno, the project aims to enhance the city through light installations that combine art, technology and local tradition. Every year, squares, streets and historical monuments are enriched by spectacular displays that attract visitors from all over the world.
The lights tell stories inspired by Campania legends, city symbols and fairy-tale figures, offering ever-changing themed itineraries and encouraging the involvement of schools and cultural associations. This urban transformation allows visitors to discover not only the most famous places, but also lesser-known corners, offering an immersive and magical experience.
For the 2025/26 edition, 36 light installations are planned, active every day from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Among the most eagerly awaited installations are the Prehistoric Garden in the Villa Comunale, The Dance of the Jellyfish in Piazza Sedile del Campo, the Angels in Via Duomo, the Butterfly Fairy in Largo Dogana Regia and the route dedicated to the Myth of Nello Ferrigno.
The event is free and easily accessible by public transport, tourist buses, on foot or by car with paid parking nearby. An unmissable opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas in Salerno.
