Livorno at the PA Awards 2026: Effetto Venezia crowned "Best of the Best"

At the ceremony on Friday, April 17 at the Centro Rogers in Scandicci, Livorno's delegation collected major awards at the PA Awards, which recognize outstanding cultural and tourist initiatives run by Italian public administrations.

Effetto Venezia received the "Best of the Best" prize, chosen from 39 national projects for its innovative impact on the territory across 41 editions. Singer-songwriter Grazia Di Michele has been the artistic director for the last two editions and was reconfirmed for 2026.

Livorno's mayor, Luca Salvetti, described the outcome as "a source of pride for the whole community," noting that events have driven the city's cultural and tourism recovery over the past seven years. Adriano Tramonti, coordinator of Fondazione LEM, credited the success to teamwork and close cooperation with municipal offices.

The awards reaffirm Livorno's ability to design public events with positive territorial and cultural tourism impacts, strengthening the city's national profile.
