Le Cornelle: the animal world has never been so close!

Autore: Redazione 29/08/2025 15:55

Le Cornelle is a zoological garden located in Valbrembo, in the province of Bergamo, Lombardy.

Open daily from March to October, the park hosts a wide range of animal species – from giraffes to elephants, tigers to lemurs – and carries out European-recognized conservation projects. What makes it truly special, however, is its ability to offer an authentic and visitor-friendly experience, complete with convenient services, well-organized dining areas, and activities designed for both adults and children.

Tickets and prices

The park offers free admission for children aged 0–2, as well as for visitors with 100% disabilities (and for minors with disabilities), with discounted rates for companions.

Here are the details:

  • Full ticket (ages 12+): €24.00
  • Reduced (ages 3–11): €16.00 (ID required)
  • Over 70: €18.00
  • University students, teachers, law enforcement: €21.00 (with valid ID or badge)
  • Visitors with partial disabilities: €15.00
  • Companions: €15.00
  • Safari Train: €3.00

A fair price for a full-day experience.

Picnic areas and restaurants

Eating at the park isn’t just a necessity — it’s part of the experience. Le Cornelle features several picnic areas, both open-air and covered, for those who prefer to bring their own food, as well as a network of restaurants and snack bars catering to every taste.

From classic sandwiches to kebabs, grilled dishes to gluten-free options, everything is designed for a pleasant and relaxing break. During the hottest months, misting stations are available near the food courts — perfect for cooling off mid-visit.

A gourmet tour inside the park

  • Bar Giraffa – A panoramic terrace overlooking elephants, giraffes, and tigers. Enjoy focaccia, toast, granitas, ice cream, and sandwiches while taking in the peaceful scenery.
  • Tapi – Ideal for a quick snack with wraps, hot dogs, toast, and tasty bites.
  • Gibba – The park’s “Delicatessen”: platters, stuffed sandwiches, and fresh kebabs.
  • Geck Burger & Grill – The kingdom of grilled meat: juicy burgers, salads, and appetizers.
  • Leo – A youthful café offering yogurt, granitas, bubble tea, and refreshing treats.
  • Pippo Self Service – A covered dining area with over 300 seats and family amenities (including a baby-food heating station), serving traditional Lombard dishes.
  • Tigre – The café at the entrance, perfect for breakfast or a coffee break before starting your visit.

An adventure to remember

Le Cornelle is more than a zoo — it’s an experience. Between safari train rides, observing animals in carefully recreated habitats, and relaxing in green rest areas, the park promises a day full of wonder, discovery, and respect for nature.

Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast, a family seeking an educational outing, or a curious traveler, Le Cornelle welcomes you with open doors from March to October, offering a journey where learning and adventure go hand in hand.
