On the Riviera di Ponente, in Ceriale, lies Le Caravelle, Liguria’s great water park. An oasis of over 80,000 square meters, where water attractions, fun, and relaxation areas blend into a perfect summer experience for all ages. Open since 1989, it has become a true institution for anyone seeking refreshment and enjoyment just steps from the sea.
At the heart of the park is the wave pool, a vast basin that transforms into an open sea with real waves to ride. Nearby, the Rapids of Rio Bravo and Rio Colorado stand out — two 400-meter double-raft slides set in a lush, scenic environment. For speed lovers, there are the classic Kamikaze slides, the thrilling Tobogas (blue or yellow, depending on your bravery), the Foam — two wide lanes for side-by-side sliding into the pool — and the five blue tracks of the Multipista, perfect for friendly competitions.
But Le Caravelle is also a family-friendly park: the new 2024 attraction, “SUMMERGIBILE,” is a dedicated space for both children and adults. The Kids Area includes five slides, the Baby Pool with floating “caravels,” Baby Tobogas, the cheerful Magic Octopus, a whale, and a shark. For those seeking tranquility, there’s the Lazy River with a whirlpool section and the Sorgente del Cuore (“Heart Spring”), a wellness zone reserved for guests over 16 — perfect for unwinding in peace.
