Latemar Adventure – the park immersed in the Dolomites forest

Autore: Redazione 01/08/2025 13:36

Located at the foot of the Latemar mountain group – between Predazzo and Nova Ponente – Latemar Adventure - montagnanimata is an adventure park immersed in the UNESCO forest of the Dolomites.

Designed especially for children aged 6 to 14, it offers three interactive storytelling trails – “The Dragon Forest”, “The Forgetful Shepherd” and “Geotrail dos capèl” – with play-book installations, maps, audio games, and a digital app to discover the mountains while playing with the whole family. The play-books cost €6.

The Dragon Forest is a themed circular trail of 1.4 km, taking about one hour. It is very simple, suitable for children, families, and also for people with motor difficulties. It starts and ends at the same point, near the Predazzo-Gardonè cable car. No reservation is required.

The Forgetful Shepherd trail is also an easy hike for children and families; if you have a small child in a stroller, it is advisable to use a baby carrier, since some parts of the trail are not suitable for strollers. The route is a 1.5 km loop. It starts and ends at the same point, just a few steps from the Predazzo-Gardonè cable car, at an altitude of 1650 m. It also takes about one hour to complete, winding partly through the forest and partly across panoramic sunny stretches.

With the Geotrail dos capèl trail, visitors can discover the Dolomites and their history: how they were formed and how they evolved over time. The trail starts at Passo Feudo, which can be reached by cable car and chairlift from Predazzo; it is 3.5 km long and takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
