Punta Manara: a natural balcony overlooking the Gulf of Tigullio

Autore: Redazione 23/08/2025 15:25

Between Sestri Levante and Moneglia stands a promontory that rises between the sea and the sky like a natural balcony at the end of the Gulf of Tigullio. We are talking about Punta Manara, a strip of land that is a small paradise for those who love breathtaking views and for those who love walking along paths that lead to postcard-perfect vistas.

Every bend offers a new glimpse and invites you to observe the details. Reaching Punta Manara is an adventure, but at a slow pace you can enjoy the hidden coves and small sandy bays that overlook the crystal clear water.

Once you reach the top of the promontory, the view is spectacular, overlooking all the pastel-colored houses and cliffs of the Ligurian archipelago.

Here too, man and nature have lived in harmony for years. There are remains of ancient fortifications and watchtowers that also tell of the strategic past of the Punta. These points of interest become important stops along the trails, offering panoramic rest stops and moments of contemplation.

Punta Manara offers moments of love and rare beauty, especially for those who see it as an open-air laboratory. Apart from the various trails and different levels of difficulty that crisscross the woods, you can also experience the forest in an immersive way. Nature is a fresh and authentic solitude.

The magic of Punta Manara is also in the pure air you breathe and the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks below. It is ideal for photographing and Instagramming the beauty of the Mediterranean.

Getting there is easy, from the center of Sestri Levante it takes about 30-40 minutes to reach the top. Wear comfortable shoes, keep your eyes ready to capture every detail, and enjoy this wonderful natural balcony overlooking the Gulf of Tigullio.
