Italian Tourism Awards 2026: applications open

Applications are officially open for the Italian Tourism Awards 2026, which recognize excellence across Italy’s tourism sector. The awards ceremony will take place on 2 December 2026 at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome.

The 2026 edition broadens its scope to include startups, small businesses and emerging talents. A key addition is the “Travel Experiences” category, dedicated to projects that turn stays into authentic, immersive experiences.

Jury, categories and special awards

The 2026 jury is chaired by Palmiro Noschese and features leading figures from the industry, including:

  • Carlo Cracco
  • Veronica Berti Bocelli
  • Aldo Melpignano
  • Carmela Colaiacovo
  • Simona Tedesco
  • Luca Pirolo
  • Giuseppe De Martino
  • Andrea Delfini
  • Deborah Garlando

There are 13 categories in total, spanning hospitality, destinations, transport, events, sustainability and innovation. Special recognitions include the Jean Marc Droulers – Man of Tourism and the Elena David – Woman of Tourism awards.

How to apply and social commitment

Companies and professionals can submit entries via the official Italian Tourism Awards website. Finalists will be announced in the coming months ahead of the December ceremony. The event also continues its partnership with AIPD (Italian Association for People with Down Syndrome), with a share of proceeds supporting the association’s projects.
