Listening to Places and Voices: Art, Faith and Music Day in Castelveccana

On Sunday, 10 May 2026, Castelveccana presents "Listening to Places and Voices", an artistic and musical route highlighting the religious heritage of Valtravaglia, the Lake Maggiore landscape and young choral voices.

Three churches will be open for guided visits: San Giorgio, San Genesio and Santa Veronica. Opening hours are:

• 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
• 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

A walking route connecting the churches departs from the square of the Santi Pietro e Paolo church at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM. The churches can also be reached by car for visitors who prefer to explore independently.

The day concludes at 4:30 PM in the Santi Pietro e Paolo church with a free concert performed by youth choirs:

• Coro del Liceo Cairoli (Varese)
• Coro Enjoy (Cesano Maderno)

Musical direction by maestro Raffaele Cifani, experienced in youth and school choral work. The program ranges from sacred Renaissance polyphony to a cappella pop vocal arrangements.

The initiative offers a practical way to discover local churches and artworks, enjoy the surrounding landscape and support cultural activities in the Valtravaglia area.
