Historic Residences in Piedmont and Salone Off: itineraries and appointments (8–19 May 2026)
Throughout May, historic residences in Piedmont will offer visits, cultural meetings and events connected to the Turin International Book Fair's Salone Off. Many activities are free or require reservation; some have an entrance fee. Below are key appointments and practical information for visitors.
- Main period: Salone Off, 8–19 May 2026 — seven properties in the provinces of Turin and Cuneo host events on history, art and local heritage.
- ADSI National Day: 24 May 2026 — more than 500 private residences open free of charge across Italy; 36 sites are expected to be accessible in Piedmont, including palaces, castles, villas and historic gardens.

- Saturday 9 May 2026 — Villa Bona, Carignano (TO), 17:00: author meeting with Angelo Berton for the book "Vegania". Event in collaboration with ADSI. Reservation recommended (info: [email protected], tel. 3392651393).
- Sunday 10 May 2026 — Distilleria Storica Chialva, Pancalieri (TO), 15:00–17:00: guided visits, presentations and tastings as part of "Omnia Menta". Free event with mandatory reservation (info and bookings: www.menta.it/visite/).
- Saturday 16 May 2026 — Palazzo dei Conti di Bricherasio (TO), 16:00: meeting with author Beppe Minello and presentation of the novel "Anonima Cronisti"; initiative in collaboration with ADSI.
- Sunday 17 May 2026 — Castello della Margarita (CN), 10:00–18:00: guided tours and outdoor painting workshops. Entry to the honor courtyard is free; guided visits to the garden and the Chinese apartment are paid (€10, every 45 minutes; no reservation required).
- Sunday 17 May 2026 — Villa Corinna, Villanova Mondovì (CN), 10:00–12:30 / 14:30–18:00: exhibition "Sfogliare il mondo" dedicated to travel books from the 19th and early 20th centuries.
