A record-breaking park in the Majella National Park

In the green expanse of Piana delle Mele, in the municipality of Guardiagrele (CH), lies the Majella Adventure Park, the largest in Italy in terms of the number of platforms installed. Surrounded by the majestic Abruzzo mountains, the park is an outdoor laboratory that combines fun, education, and environmental awareness.

Tree-top trails for all ages

With more than 250 aerial games suspended among walkways, Tibetan bridges, tunnels, and zip lines, the Majella Adventure Park offers courses divided by age, height, and difficulty level. From baby circuits (for children aged 2 and up) to red and black lines for the more experienced, every route is supervised by qualified instructors and equipped with CLiC-iT smart carabiners to ensure maximum safety.

In just three hours — the standard duration of a visit — you can enjoy an intense adventure filled with balance, courage, and nature. It’s a park designed to challenge yourself… in total safety.

Inside the park, there are also large picnic areas with tables (available by reservation for €6–€12) and a kiosk serving typical Abruzzese dishes, as well as artisan pizzas and sandwiches. Picnic baskets and a nursery service are also available.

Ticket prices vary according to age and access level:

Base Ticket (valid for 3 hours)

• Park Baby (ages 2–3): €8
• Park 1 (ages 4–6): €13
• Park 2 (ages 6–9): €17
• Park 3 (ages 9–13): €20
• Park 4 (ages 14+): €22

Discounts and special options:

• Family, group, and school discounts, as well as reductions for local residents
• Free entry for accompanying visitors who do not participate in activities
• Reduced weekday rates, starting from €16 for adults
• Full Park (daily access to all themed areas): €40

Summer 2025 opening hours

The park is open daily from June 15 to September 15, 2025.

Opening time: 10:00 a.m. | Last entry: 5:30 p.m. | Closing: 7:00 p.m.

Advance booking is strongly recommended on weekends and throughout August.

How to get there

• From the north: A14 motorway, exit Pescara Ovest/Chieti, then follow signs for Guardiagrele.
• From the south: A14 motorway, exit Ortona, then direction Orsogna – Guardiagrele.
• From Rome: A25 motorway, exit Alanno/Scafa, then Manoppello Scalo and Casalincontrada.

Free parking is available at the entrance, and there is clear signage from Guardiagrele to Piana delle Mele.
