The Visionaries: Emanuele Giannelli’s monumental sculptures in Barga

"The Visionaries" stages large-scale sculptures by Emanuele Giannelli throughout Barga, combining a free-access outdoor trail available 24 hours a day with a solo exhibition hosted at the Oxo Gallery. Selected restaurants and local venues also display works, creating a dispersed cultural itinerary.
Highlights
- Korf guarding Porta Reale, visible from afar;
- Mr Arbitrium Mirrored, the tallest piece, positioned in the octagonal square on viale Marconi overlooking the valley;
- Gravity Mirrored in the atrium of Palazzo Balduini;
- Sospeso and Mr. Kiribati beneath the Menchi vault;
- Works hosted at local venues: Ristorante Da Alfonso, Scacciaguai, Wine Not?, and the Acchiappasogni Art Boutique Hotel;
- Additional installations outside the walls, in the valley, and at the Unipol office in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and in Fornaci di Barga.

Outdoor access: dispersed trail free and open 24/7.
Oxo Gallery (solo show): open Friday to Sunday and during city events (Piazzette, Barga Jazz, Barga Scottish Festival) from 17:00 to 20:00; other days by appointment.
