Gran Sasso Adventure Park: Adventure Among the Peaks

Autore: Redazione 26/08/2025 18:58

At the foot of the majestic Gran Sasso massif, in Assergi, lies the Gran Sasso Adventure Park — an adventure park immersed in the protected nature of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park. Here, adrenaline blends with respect for the environment, offering families, groups, and outdoor enthusiasts a truly unique experience.

Courses for all ages

The park features tree-top trails tailored to different ages and levels of difficulty. Starting from the “Owlets Trails” for children aged 2 to 4, up to the more challenging blue and black routes designed for adults. In between, there are the “Gnomes Trails” for young kids and the “Junior Trails” for teenagers. Every adventure takes place in total safety, supervised by qualified instructors, allowing visitors to experience the forest from a fascinating and unusual perspective.

Hours and booking

The park is open every day during the summer months, with the last entry to the courses at 5:00 p.m. Advance booking is required via WhatsApp.

A full range of activities

Beyond the suspended trails, the park also offers archery, orienteering, and e-bike rentals, along with spacious picnic and relaxation areas. It’s the perfect venue for organizing birthday parties, hen and stag events, educational days, or team-building activities.

Nature and respect for the rules

Being located within a national park, the philosophy of the Gran Sasso Adventure Park is to experience nature respectfully. Smoking, picking flowers, and damaging the environment are strictly prohibited — a commitment that helps preserve the extraordinary biodiversity of the area.

Adventure and nature combined

The Gran Sasso Adventure Park perfectly embodies the harmony between sport, play, and unspoiled nature — a place where both adults and children can challenge themselves, breathe pure mountain air, and experience the magic of the Abruzzo peaks firsthand.
