When it comes to amusement parks in Italy, Gardaland is without a doubt the first name that comes to mind — not only for the variety of its attractions but also for their spectacular nature. Located in Castelnuovo del Garda, just a few kilometers from Verona, it is considered one of the most important theme parks in Europe. Since its opening in 1975, Gardaland has continuously evolved, captivating generations of visitors with its more than 40 themed attractions, ranging from adventure to fantasy, from the Wild West to the Orient, and even into the underwater world.
Attractions for everyone
At Gardaland Park, everything you could wish for is already there.
Thrill-seekers shouldn’t miss Oblivion – The Black Hole, the vertical drop roller coaster that defies gravity, or Raptor, Italy’s first “winged” coaster.
For those looking for a gentler adventure, there are Jungle Rapids, Corsari – The Revenge of the Ghost, and Escape from Atlantis — spectacular and immersive water attractions.
Younger visitors will love Fantasy Kingdom, the area dedicated to children, featuring family-friendly rides such as Prezzemolo Land, Volaplano, and Funny Express.
Adding to the fun are live shows, including the Wild West Party, the Meet & Greet with LEGO Shark, the playful shark from the LEGO universe, and A.I. – The Future is Here, an immersive journey into the world of Artificial Intelligence, where audiences can witness the creation of extraordinary universes through visual and sensory experiments.
The park also features a wide selection of restaurants and bars. Visitors can enjoy gluten-free pizza or opt for one of the burger houses, which also offer vegetarian menus. For a quicker break — so as not to miss a single moment of fun — there are plenty of charming bars and kiosks, from the Aladdin Bar to the Maniero Kiosk.
