Florence Cocktail Week 2026: Florence celebrates the art of mixology

From April 16 to 22 Florence will host the Florence Cocktail Week (FCW26), curated by Paola Mencarelli, aimed at showcasing Italian bartending talent and promoting responsible drinking.

Numbers and format

• 55 selected cocktail bars and hotel bars participating.
• Each venue presents an FCW26 drink list with 3 cocktails: a signature, a wellness (low ABV or alcohol‑free) and a classic.
• Program includes masterclasses, guest shifts, brunches, pop‑up bars and cultural experiences for professionals and enthusiasts.

Key events

• Thursday 16 April, 19:30: Martini Social Club at Locale Firenze with six leading Italian bartenders.
• Thursday 16 April, 12:30–15: brunch by Polot 1882 with cocktails curated by Moebius Milano.
• Friday 17 April, 16:30–21: “50 Shades of Negroni” masterclass at Rivoire with Antonio Virili.
• Thursday 16 April, 14:30: return of the historic bartender contest at Locale Firenze with the original jury.
• Saturday 18 April, 12:00–18: opening of Fermenthinks’ new production site in Bagno a Ripoli and presentations including Winestillery Florentis.
