CAI Calls for Villaggi Montani and Sentiero Italia: job opportunities in the mountains

The Italian Alpine Club (CAI) has recently launched calls and tenders to hire professionals for two flagship projects: Villaggi Montani CAI and the Sentiero Italia CAI. The measures aim to strengthen local engagement in alpine and Apennine areas, fostering sustainable tourism development and territorial stewardship.

Main positions and deadlines:

• Villaggi Montani CAI: recruitment of a collaborator to support candidate localities and partner administrations, with communication duties; contract for 18 months. Applications due by 20 April 2026.
• Sentiero Italia CAI: open procedure for service delivery to implement the project plan, 12-month assignment; focus on increasing hospitality points along the trail. Applications due by 5 May 2026.
