San Ginesio hosts the Festival of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages in the Marche

On Saturday, 28 March 2026 San Ginesio will host a regional celebration dedicated to the Marche’s most charming historic villages. The day brings together local authorities, municipal representatives and the general public to showcase territorial enhancement projects.

Key programme items:

• Morning – Assembly of the Association I Borghi più belli d'Italia nelle Marche (reserved for representatives of member municipalities).
• Afternoon – Public session at Auditorium Sant'Agostino with the presentation of the “Ciclovia nei Borghi più belli d’Italia nelle Marche” project.
• Ceremony – Flag handover to the network municipalities, attended by local and regional authorities.

The cycling-route initiative promotes slow and sustainable tourism, connecting villages through bike-friendly itineraries that highlight landscapes, culture and local traditions.
