“Hecuba. The Dream” at Castello Aragonese in Reggio Calabria: theatre, memory and solidarity

On 1 May 2026 at 19:00, the Castello Aragonese in Reggio Calabria stages “Hecuba. The Dream”, an Adexo Arti Creative production included in the "Theatre in Museums" series. The play connects the classical myth with contemporary themes such as war, exile and rebuilding, and is part of the Due Sponde Mille Racconti project.

A delegation of Ukrainian women, supported by S.Me.Re.Ca APS and in cooperation with Action Aid and the SWEETIE project, will attend, highlighting the event’s cultural and community focus.

The initiative is part of the national projects funded by the "Ad Alta Voce" 2024 call, supported by the Centro per il libro e la lettura – Ministry of Culture, and aims to promote reading and cultural participation across diverse audiences, with special attention to occasional readers and vulnerable groups.
