Comicon Naples 2026: more than comics

COMICON Naples returns to the Mostra d’Oltremare with a broad program that goes beyond a comics festival: over 480 Italian and international guests, more than 650 events and 520 exhibitors across four days covering comics, cinema and TV, videogames, music and more.

  • Headliners: the magister Leo Ortolani, illustrator and art director Aurélien Predal, and first-time Italian appearances by Kazuhiko Torishima and mangaka Makoto Yukimura (Vinland Saga).
  • International guests: names such as Don Rosa, Marvel authors Alex Maleev and David Mack, and leading manga and European comics creators.
  • Videogames & music: panels with industry professionals, notable voices like Troy Baker, and live concerts including Giorgio Vanni on the Main Stage – Arena Flegrea.
  • Exhibitions: 25 shows ranging from retrospectives to tributes, including dedicated displays for Leo Ortolani, Aurélien Predal, Caparezza and Makoto Yukimura.
  • Evening events & awards: live podcast recordings, special screenings (e.g. Millennium Actress) and the Palmarés ceremony, with the COMICON Lifetime Achievement Award going to Grzegorz Rosiński.
  • COMICON OFF: the off-festival program includes the notable exhibition “Robert Crumb. Cattivi pensieri” at Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino), scheduled from 27 May to 31 August 2026.

For the full schedule, times and ticket information consult the official COMICON Naples site: the festival confirms its role as a key annual event for pop culture and comics in Italy.
